On April 29, 2023 at Athena Room in Grand Hotel Napoca was held the ordinary Congress of All Europe Taekwon-Do Federation which was attended by representatives of 28 Member countries. The Congress was opened from the Secretary General Mr. Yavor Tasev followed by welcome speech of the President Master Leonardo Oros Duek.
This year edition the Board of directors presented the wide variety of activities done through 2022. It was put emphasis on administrational changes that need to be done in order the Federation to start functioning with more modern approach.
Also, it was given the word to the attending representatives of the AETF Committees who gave report for what was done by their members in the past year.
Other very important was the voting for the AETF competitions in the next year, so the next European Championships will be held in Lublin, Poland in April 2024 and the European Cup is confirmed for June 2024 in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
AETF is happy to announce that it was voted one more member to join our Federation – Serbian International Taekwon-Do Association with President Sasa Lukic.
Before closing the Congress, the AETF President Master Leonardo Oros Duek expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the president of the Romanian ITF Takwon-DO Federation for the great efforts in the organization of this European Championships in Romania and delivering the best possible conditions to all competitors, coaches, umpires and officials.
Another important part of the event was the official handling from GM Paul Weiler ITF President and Master Tadeusz Loboda ITF Secretary General of the IX degree certificate to the long time AETF Vice-President and Acting President in the last cadence GM Coos van den Heuvel from Netherlands. He also received congratulatory letter and official AETF tie on behalf of the Federation.
