Saturday August 5th the AETF Women Committee had the second online meeting with the national Women Committees in Europe.
After the welcome and the presentation of the committee members, the report 20222 was presented, just as the achievements of the committee this year and the further plans and goals for 2023 (with e.g. a Meet&Greet during the World Championships and a webinar October 1st).
Also the results of the survey 2023 were presented, and the advises the committee formulated towards the AETF Board and Tournament & Umpire Committee.
There was an overview on the national committees in Europe so far. Afterwards the women were asked to present themselves, their achievements, plans, needs, difficulties and what kind of support they want from the committee.
The meeting ended with a Q&A.
It was a very productive meeting.
The AETF Women Committee had a second meeting following this gathering, with members of the ITF Communications Committee. The plans for a Meet&Greet during the World Championships, a joint event with the ITF Women Committee, were discussed.
