All-Ukrainian Taekwon-Do tournament in memory of world champion Danylo Demchyshyn.
On December 12, 2023, Danylo died under tragic circumstances. He is forever 25 years old. Danylo is a two-times world champion and a three-times European champion in Taekwon-Do. On March 23, the all-Ukrainian tournament in memory of world champion Danylo Demchyshyn was held in Ivano-Frankivsk. In the tournament took part 185 participants, 17 clubs from 9 regions of Ukraine. The tournament was held among pre juniors 12-14 y.o, juniors 15-17y.o and seniors 18+ y.o with qualifications from 4 KUP (blue belt). Athletes competed in patterns , sparring, prearranged free sparring, special technique and power test. During the grand opening, there was a GALA. Here are five final matches among juniors and adults (black belts) winners: -junior female patterns I-II degree, Sirokvasha Anna 🥇 -juniors male up to 65 kg., Lypovetskyi Denys 🥇 -senior male up to 63 kg., Barchuk Vladyslav 🥇 -senior male up to 69 kg., Gayenko Artem 🥇 -senior male up to 75 kg, Boychuk Marko 🥇 This tournament will be annual and is part of the official calendar of the All-Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Union.
