The AETF Women Committee is proud to announce that Renata Szalai (ITF Hungary) won the EmpowerHer Award.
Renata started Taekwon-Do as a teenager. Nowadays she’s a full-time instructor, and a Board Member in ITF Hungary. In her life and work it’s all about bringing mothers -postpartum- back to sports, and this in a healthy an conscious manner, after adequate regeneration. Renata: “My postpartum recovery program is famous in the country, and many Taekwon-Do mothers have gone through it before returning to hard training.”
The main purpose of the hard work is to help others, other women.
Besides this, Renata is conducting classes of Taekwon-Do to children.
Renata had the opportunity to participate at this year’s conference ‘EmpowerHER Balaton’, organised by Bent. This conference is the first women’s business conference in the Balaton Highlands in Hungary. Renata: “It’s not just a professional event, it’s much more than that. I have received incredible knowledge, experience and thoughts, about all aspects of life, not just for work. Because yes, you can be good at your business if you are good outside of your entrepreneurship. In addition to the many useful lectures, workshops and roundtable discussions, it was already an incredible experience to meet so many special and interesting women, dreams, paths and goals. I know that everyone who attended the conference is making their dream come true. Because I saw the determination, the enthusiasm and now have the direction and availability of the necessary help.”
