The AETF Board of Directors is responsible for the strategic leadership, governance, and overall direction of the All Europe Taekwon-Do Federation. Comprising elected representatives from across Europe, the Board oversees policy development, ensures compliance with the AETF Constitution, supports the work of committees, and upholds the values and standards of ITF Taekwon-Do throughout the continent.

The AETF Revisory Commission is an independent body responsible for overseeing the financial integrity and accountability of the Federation. It reviews financial reports, audits accounts, and ensures that AETF activities comply with established financial procedures and regulations. The Commission plays a key role in promoting transparency and good governance within the organisation.

The AETF Women’s Committee is dedicated to promoting gender equity, supporting female participation, and empowering women at all levels of Taekwon-Do across Europe. The committee works to identify and address barriers, develop inclusive policies, and create opportunities for women as athletes, coaches, officials, and leaders within the AETF community.

The AETF Tournament Committee is responsible for the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of European Taekwon-Do championships and AETF sanctioned tournaments. The committee ensures tournaments are delivered to the highest standards of fairness, efficiency, and athlete experience, while supporting host nations and maintaining consistency with AETF rules and regulations.

The AETF Umpire Committee is responsible for upholding the highest standards of officiating across all AETF competitions. The committee oversees the education, certification, and development of umpires, ensures consistent application of ITF/AETF rules, and works to promote fairness, integrity, and professionalism in the sport of Taekwon-Do throughout Europe.

The AETF IT Committee is responsible for developing and managing the Federation’s digital infrastructure and technology systems. This includes supporting competition software, online platforms, data management, and digital innovation to enhance the efficiency, accessibility, and transparency of AETF operations and events across Europe.

The AETF Technical Committee is responsible for maintaining and advancing the technical standards of ITF Taekwon-Do across Europe. The committee oversees the development of instructional guidelines, supports the delivery of technical seminars and courses, and ensures consistency in the interpretation and application of Taekwon-Do techniques in line & conjunction with ITF principles and guidelines.

The AETF Inclusion Committee is committed to ensuring that Taekwon-Do is accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, background, or circumstance. The committee develops initiatives to promote diversity, support para-athletes and underrepresented groups, provides instructor educational resources and support, and foster an inclusive environment where all practitioners can thrive and participate fully in the Taekwon-Do community.

The AETF Anti-Doping & Health Promotion Committee is dedicated to safeguarding the integrity, health, and well-being of all Taekwon-Do practitioners. The committee promotes clean sport through education and compliance with anti-doping regulations, while also supporting athlete health initiatives, including mental well-being, injury prevention, nutrition, and safe training practices.

The AETF Coaches Committee supports the development, education, and continuous improvement of Taekwon-Do coaches across Europe. The committee works to establish high coaching standards, deliver training programmes, promote ethical and athlete-centred practices, and strengthen the role of coaches in fostering excellence and well-being at all levels of the sport.

The AETF Athletes Committee represents the voice of athletes within the Federation, ensuring their perspectives are included in decision-making processes. The committee advocates for athlete welfare, fair competition, and development opportunities, while fostering open communication between athletes and AETF leadership to help shape the future of Taekwon-Do in Europe.

The AETF Media & Communications Committee is responsible for promoting the activities, values, and achievements of the Federation through effective communication and media outreach. The committee manages social media, website content, press relations, and branding to enhance visibility, engage the Taekwon-Do community, and support the growth of the Martial Art & sport across Europe.

The AETF Legal Committee provides guidance on legal and regulatory matters affecting the Federation. The committee supports the interpretation and application of the AETF Constitution and policies, advises on disciplinary and ethical issues, and helps ensure that all Federation activities are conducted with transparency, fairness, and legal compliance.

The AETF Development Committee is focused on supporting the growth and sustainability of Taekwon-Do across Europe. The committee works with national associations to strengthen organisational capacity, expand access to resources and education, and implement strategic initiatives that promote inclusivity, participation, and long-term development at all levels of the martial art and sport.

The AETF Marketing Committee is responsible for promoting the image and visibility of the Federation across Europe and beyond. The committee develops marketing strategies, supports sponsorship and branding initiatives, and works to enhance engagement with athletes, officials, member organisations, and the wider public through creative and impactful campaigns.
