Dear Presidents and National Federation Representatives,
Firstly, thank you to all countries who have already confirmed their participation in this important meeting. If you have not yet confirmed your countries participation, we ask that you please do so this week so that we can coordinate rooming needs with the host hotel and release any unreserved rooms.
Following our previous invitation to the 1st AETF Annual Representatives Meeting (19–21 June, La Nucía, Spain), we are pleased to share an overview of the key topics that will be addressed during this important gathering, together with the event schedule.
Our aim is not only to meet, but to create a meaningful platform for dialogue, alignment, and collaboration among European ITF Taekwon-Do leaders.

Main Topics to be Addressed
1. AETF Strategic Plan
Presentation of the Federation’s vision, objectives, and strategic direction for the coming years, accompanied by an open and constructive dialogue to better understand the needs and perspectives of all National Associations.
2. Preserving the Essence of Taekwon-Do ITF
Reinforcing the importance of maintaining the martial art essence (“Do”) across all activities. Continued development of the sport must remain firmly grounded in values, discipline and tradition.
3. European Calendar 2027/28 & Annual Planning
Presentation of a proposed European calendar, including key events such as the European Championships, European Cup, official courses, camps, and AETF ranking events.
National Associations will also have the opportunity to express interest in hosting events, in coordination with the AETF.
4. Stronger Support & Coordination of Activities
Further strengthening the role of the AETF in supporting, coordinating, and overseeing activities and events, with the aim of ensuring consistent standards and quality across Europe.
5. Raising the Level of European Events
A clear commitment to enhancing AETF events across organisation, technical delivery, presentation, communication, and overall participant experience.
6. AETF–ITF Cooperation & Alignment
Discussion on strengthening cooperation and alignment between the AETF and the ITF, with a focus on supporting the continued development of European activities & courses within the wider ITF framework.
7. Open Discussion with National Federations
Dedicated time to hear your ideas, feedback, and proposals, ensuring that all voices contribute to shaping the future of European Taekwon-Do ITF.
