The “Anxur Battle” International Taekwon-do ITF Tournament was held with great success at the PalaCarucci in Terracina (LT) on 31/05/2026.
The event was organized by ASD ASI Palestra Massimo Caiazzo, a historic local institution founded by the unforgettable Alfredo Caiazzo, today directed by Grand Master Carmine Caiazzo.
The tournament proved to be a showcase of top-tier technical and competitive excellence. Athletes from the central-southern regions of Italy and abroad (Albania, England, Kosovo, Wales, and Germany) brought an authentic martial arts spectacle to life.

The event saw the participation of prestigious personalities from the world of sports and martial arts.
Technical Demonstration
An iconic and spectacular moment was the technical demonstration coordinated by Master Geremia di Costanzo, which featured local and international champions: Giuseppe di Costanzo, Massimo Caiazzo, Sebastian Leicester, and the young Ben Heath.
The athletes first performed striking pad techniques, culminating in high-level sparring exhibitions. The exhibition match between Massimo Caiazzo and Giuseppe di Costanzo was particularly extraordinary.
Furthermore, with a strong focus on inclusion, the event welcomed prominent figures from across the ITF scene in Italy: Master Luciano Rodorigo, Master Persia, and Master Napolitano (representing the ICTF), alongside Master De Simone, Master Prebenda, and International Instructor Alfonso Mauro (representing the ITF under GM Choi Hung Hwa). Instructors Lepore and Di Caprio, as well as Master Rimi from Albania, were also in attendance.
Results
Reflecting the spirit of inclusion among different Taekwon-do styles, several exhibition matches were held under unified ITF – WOTF rules (a style affiliated with modern-day WT).

“I am extremely satisfied with the success of this event. Beyond the results, all participants delivered a magnificent technical and competitive showcase. There was a beautiful atmosphere of inclusion and camaraderie, perfectly aligning with our goal to foster an open and collaborative martial arts vision.
I can proudly state that our school—active in the region since 1967 and responsible for producing hundreds of black belts and instructors—continues to develop Taekwon-do nationally and internationally with the same passion and professionalism as always.
In this journey, cooperation with ASI (Italian Sports and Social Associations) is indispensable. Today, it stands as the largest Sports Promotion Board in Italy with over 2 million and 60 thousand members, which I am honored to represent as the National Head of the Martial Arts Sector.
