AETF Active Umpire Program

Dear AETF Members,
As part of our ongoing efforts to raise the standard of umpiring across Europe, the AETF Umpire Committee, is creating a central registry of umpires. This initiative will allow us to strengthen umpire education, provide wider access to resources, and develop a broader pool of highly qualified umpires for our major championships.
We kindly ask each National Association to ensure that all active umpires of 2nd Degree and higher complete the following registration form no later than 31st October 2025:
The registry will be used to:
  • Enrol umpires in the AETF Active Umpire Program, gaining credits for officiating at recognised AETF Championships.
  • Enhance education and development opportunities through access to training materials and seminars.
  • Support the selection process for officials at European Championships and other major events.
  • Build a stronger network of umpires to ensure consistent, high-quality officiating across all AETF events.
Further details on the AETF Active Umpire Program, including requirements and benefits, can be found here:
We greatly value the contribution of our umpires, whose dedication underpins the success and fairness of every competition. This registry will allow us to better support them and raise the overall level of officiating across Europe.
We kindly request your support in encouraging all eligible umpires to register before the deadline of 31st October 2025 to ensure full inclusion in the program.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in this important initiative.
