*Elite Stage & Competition 2026: Three Days of Passion, Growth, and Competition in Taekwon-Do ITF*
For three intense days, the Elite Stage & Competition 2026 event brought together outstanding athletes, coaches, referees, and international delegations for a unique experience of training, competition, and celebration of Taekwon-Do ITF at the highest level.
After a 365-day wait, this special program returned, marking the start of the sporting year with the best of world Taekwon-Do ITF. The 2026 edition offered multiple training sessions focused on sparring and patterns, led by a select group of Master Presenters and international coaches, who shared their knowledge, experience, and vision with all participants. These sessions will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression and provide key tools for the future of each attendee’s sporting career.
*Elite Training and Borderless Learning*
Throughout the event, top-level technical and tactical sessions were held, designed to enhance performance, refine skills, and foster knowledge exchange among practitioners from different countries. The participation of new European and South American delegations, along with the addition of new presenters and a new venue, the Combat Sport Center Topten La Nucía, reaffirmed the constant growth of this international project.

*A Night for the History Books: Pro Event Gala*
The highlight of the event was the spectacular Pro Event Gala 2026, an evening where the elite took to the stage and the top athletes gave their all in every match, raising the competitive level to the maximum. The Gala began with a special moment when Grandmaster Juan Ferrando invited everyone to enjoy this great event. The special wrestling match between Team South America and Team Europe will be etched in the memory of all those present: a duel brimming with passion, technique, respect, and continental pride. Meanwhile, the women’s forms competition offered a display of strength, elegance, and character, demonstrating that talent, discipline, and excellence know no bounds.
*Recognition, Cooperation, and the ITF Spirit*
During the gala, organizers Grandmaster Wim Bos and Master Paco Ferrando made a special mention of the cooperation agreement between federations, presenting awards to the president of the European Taekwon-Do Federation, Tomaz Barada, and the president of the South American Taekwon-Do ITF Federation, Fernando Arrua. This gesture reinforces the spirit of unity, collaboration, and shared growth within the international Taekwon-Do ITF community.
The essential work of the referees, guarantors of respect, impartiality, and excellence in every match, was also highlighted, and the awards ceremony, which crowned the effort, discipline, and fulfilled dreams of the competitors, was celebrated with pride.
