Dear AETF Members,
The All Europe Taekwon-Do Federation (AETF) is pleased to invite applications from member countries interested in hosting Official AETF Open Ranking Tournaments.
These prestigious events will form a core part of the AETF athlete ranking system, alongside the European Championships and Euro Cup. In addition to awarding ranking points to competitors, selected tournaments will also contribute to the AETF Active Umpire Program, helping to support and track engagement of our officiating teams.
Hosting an AETF Open Ranking Tournament will bring:
- Increased visibility and prestige to your event
- Enhanced promotional support through AETF channels
- Official designation and use of the AETF branding and ranking structure
- Direct involvement in the growth of continental athlete development
- To be eligible, applicants must commit to the terms outlined in the attached Official Agreement and ensure the event meets AETF technical and organisational standards.
Two deadlines apply:
- July 31st, 2025: Early deadline to confirm the first Open Ranking Tournament of the season.
- August 31st, 2025: Final deadline for all applications for events to be held up to the end of 2026.
We encourage a diverse spread of events throughout the year to support balanced athlete participation and growth across Europe. Please find the agreement document attached. This must be completed and submitted with your application along the microsoft form provided.
